As the lead product manager at Unity for Apple visionOS platform support, I steered the development of core features enabling app deployment to the Vision Pro device announced at WWDC23. This role involved driving the roadmap for three engineering teams focused on core feature support, testing and iteration and content for demos and learning. I prioritized and defined Play to Device functionality, which streamlined iteration and debugging workflows by allowing developers to preview content on the visionOS simulator or Vision Pro device directly from the Unity editor without rebuilding in Xcode. I wrote product specifications and creative briefs and worked with content creators to develop project templates and example applications. In collaboration with technical writers and instructional designers, we created detailed documentation and guides to help developers understand a radically different new XR platform to quickly implement features into their new projects and port existing projects.
For the first time ever, a partner company appeared alongside Apple leadership at WWDC 2023 to announce Unity's platform support for visionOS.
